The Team

Delaram is a lawyer and member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario. Prior to her call to the Bar as a lawyer, Delaram worked as a licensed paralegal.  

Delaram's major areas of practice include: 

• Contract and Tort related disputes

• Property and construction related disputes

• Civil Appeals to the Divisional Court 

• Residential Real Estate Transactions 

• Residential tenancies

• Wills and Powers of Attorney 

Delaram represents her clients at the Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, Landlord and Tenant Board, and the Divisional Court. 

Delaram holds an LLM in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode, York University, and a PhD in the field of International Arbitration of Construction Disputes from the National University of Singapore. Prior to that, Delaram completed her LL.B and LL.M at Iranian law schools and wrote her LLM dissertation on "Applicable Laws to the Merit of the Disputes in ICSID Arbitrations". 

Maggie has over 10 years of experience as a social and legal interpreter in Ontario. Maggie assists and accompanies her Farsi speaking clients at various courts, tribunals and government institutions such as 

• Ontario Works

• Social Services Organization

• Board of Refugees

• Legal Aid, etc. 

Maggie is a family lawyer in Iran and a licensed paralegal in Canada. Maggie works as an independent Farsi interpreter and as a legal and administrative assistant at Delaram M. Jafari, Barrister & Solicitor.
